It’s Beginning To Look A Lot Like Christmas

Colleagues, residents and learners from across Kisimul have been getting in the festive spirit, from attending pantomimes, Christmas fayres, to raising money for good causes, baking and decoroating. Here are just some of the fesivities which have taken place this month. While out Christmas shopping an individual from Blythe House saw a Christmas gift campaign to support children and young people in hospital this Christmas, they decided that they wanted to help and purchased a selection of gifts to make sure the children received a gift. The individual chose a neon colouring set, wooden train set and a couple of board games to donate.

In support of the Alzheimer’s Society Elf Day, Calman Colaiste college organised two days of fundraising. Colleagues and students dressed up as elves, played games, enjoyed delicious food and lots of singing. The college raised a whopping £300!

On Christmas Jumper Day, Acacia Hall held a Christmas market to sell eco-friendly gifts and decorations handcrafted by Acacia’s students. Santa and his reindeer friends also paid us a visit!
